Cheers Russ. I have to thank my last minute partner Selwyn for pacing us around the course perfectly. We has just enough energy at the end to sprint the final 2km, we were the fastest team over the penultimate leg!

The lack of hills was more than made up for by the endless expanse of bog and tussocks. Quite how I didn't turn an ankle I'll never know.

If anyone else fancies another MM next year, get in touch.

Hi Joe
I live in Blantyre, Malawi. In a former life I was a cubscout leader in Ireland. Am trying to track down scouting links in Malawi with limited success, in order to establish solid link with my old pack. Any contacts you could give me would be welcome.

Well done on everyone who got their GCSE results. Also sounds like you are all having a great time. Well done to those who reached the summit - sounds like you had to suffer some really horrendous weather!!

Look forward to your safe return and to see you at the Christening Joe.
